Among the 284 awardees were Scalia & Co. clients Coastal Enterprises, Inc., the Cooperative Fund of New England, Dayton Region New Markets Fund, Four Directions Development Corp., Genesis Fund, Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership, Regional Economic Development Center and The Real Estate Council Community Fund. Four Directions Development Corporation received the first-ever Catalyst Award from OFN and First Nations Oweesta in recognition of its work to bring capital and know-how to Wabanaki tribal housing, business and community facilities projects. CDFIs on Capitol Hill
March 2019: Despite the President's budget, members of Congress expressed great support for the work of CDFIs. Keith Bisson, of CEI, Liza Fleming-Ives, of the Genesis Fund, and I, for Four Directions, were on Capitol Hill for visits with the Maine Delegation.
